We now run a dedicated bulk uplift service for our tenants.
We collect bulk waste items once a week from a collection point outside your property. This service is included as part of your rent payments, which means you won’t have to pay extra to use it. Simply leave household items that you would like to dispose of at the collection point the night before your dedicated pick up day. Please do not leave items in the back court or other communal areas.
You should have received a letter with your dedicated pick up day before the service started on the 1st April. If you’re unsure, you can check the pick up day for your property below, by calling us on 0141 429 3900 or by emailing repairs@newgorbalsha.org.uk.
We will collect standard items such as household furniture and other items that will not fit in a normal household waste bin. We will not collect items such as rubble, builders materials, or supermarket trolleys. A full list of items is available below, and you can also call or email us if you are unsure.
